Jeff Lemming is the Leader of the Consumer, Media and Retail Sector of The Caldwell Partners. Jeff entered the executive search field in 1983 and since that time has gained broad-based executive search experience, having conducted searches in every functional area of a retail organization, including many CEOs and board members. Jeff has conducted searches in nearly every merchandise category in all retail, wholesale and distributive formats. Many of his searches have been completed for international corporations seeking a U.S. presence.

Before joining The Caldwell Partners, Jeff was with Heidrick & Struggles and a member of the Retail, Consumer, Marketing and Supply Chain practices. Jeff was previously the leader of Highland Partners’ Fashion & Retail Practice prior to its acquisition by Heidrick & Struggles in 2006. In 1988 he was a co-founder of Lemming/LeVan, Inc., an executive search firm specializing in retail/fashion and related industries that was acquired by TMP Worldwide (which later spun off Highland Partners) in 1999. He entered retail executive search after a 10-year career in retail where he gained experience as a merchant and in general operations.

Jeff received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Miami University.
