With more then 24 years of executive search experience John brings to Caldwell Partners his extensive background in the energy sector, conducting assignments at the board, president and senior officer levels for exploration and production, power, energy trading and oil and gas transmission/ distribution companies.

John’s functional areas of expertise include all C level and Board of Directors, along with extensive experience recruiting senior line, business development and administration leadership for domestic and international energy companies.

Prior to joining Caldwell Partners John was Global Sector Leader – Energy for a major global executive search firm where he operated out of Calgary and Houston, Texas. Before entering the search profession, John was involved in the oil and gas service and equipment sector, where he worked in general and sales management for large Canadian and global organizations. His sales and marketing experience covered both domestic and international areas.

John has held the position of Board Director for publicly traded junior oil and gas companies in Calgary and is active within the community as a fund raiser and board member for community-based charities. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing from Gonzaga University, Spokane, Washington.
