Mike Corey has over 40 years in executive search, specializing in financial services and all lines of insurance. He is currently a Partner at The Caldwell Partners International, heading the firm's Insurance practice in the United States and Canada.

Mike has successfully recruited senior level executives worldwide in the private sector, as well as consulting firms and not-for-profit organizations. He has done extensive business development and execution with multiple insurance companies in every functional area. His experiences includes CEO's of all insurance lines, benefits consulting and healthcare, and also mid to senior management and consulting positions. During his career Mike has recruited over 3,000 executives and consultants.

Mike joined The Caldwell Partners International from Heidrick & Struggles, where he was a Senior Partner in their large insurance practice. Prior to Heidrick & Struggles acquiring Highland Partners, Mike headed the largest global retained search practice in the world. He also headed all of financial services for the large executive search firm, was a member of the company's management committee and Vice Chairman. Mike was on the executive committee as well as the Global Sector Leader responsible for the revenue line and managing every practice in the company. This included financial services, insurance, technology, manufacturing and healthcare.

Mike was previously with Lamalie where he was the Global Practice Leader for Insurance, as well as in charge of the company's entire financial services organization. He was also on the executive committee and managed the financial services practice from their London, England office. Lamalie and Associates acquired Mike's previous organization, Ward Howell, Inc., where he ran the global retained executive search insurance practice.

From 1984 to 1995, Mike was the sole owner, CEO and Senior Business Developer for the Chicago Search Group, which was the largest insurance boutique insurance organization in the country. He was very involved in the recruitment of insurance executives in all product lines including employee benefits. His major client for many years was Towers Perrin where he recruited 400 consultants and the two most recent CEOs.

Mike has been significantly involved with the Actuarial Foundation as a Trustee and a Trustee Emeritus. He also was recently elected to the Board of the American College. He created and continues to run the Insurance Legend's Golf Classic, an annual ACLI-sponsored fund raising event.
